Important note for 2009 tours

Animal Tracks safaris may not be accompanied by an aboriginal guide in 2009.

and may not include hands-on hunting and gathering. Yet it remains a very high quality experience that delivers extensive cultural and natural interpretation and exclusive wildlife viewing.

The non-aboriginal guide that conducts the tour has extensive experience working with bush aboriginal people and will provide extensive interpretation regarding many facets of aboriginal culture and bushcraft especially regarding the many items of interest seen on the tour.

 

AIM

To provide funding to the Kakadu Buffalo Farm which provides bush food to aboriginal people in Kakadu.

Animal Tracks is proud to be one of very few tour operators in Kakadu that provides real, tangible benefits to its people.

This tour aims to nurture aboriginal participation in business or employment in a way that enriches authentic local indigenous culture and provides career opportunities in their homelands. It balances traditional ways with tour guiding to provide smiles all round.
